Donation Refund Policy

Sarv Saarthi Foundation has instituted a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations made via any payment mode.

Sarv Saarthi Foundation expects all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. We also recognises that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind.

Sarv Saarthi Foundation will examine each request for refund of donation and endeavour to make the refund. We may also seek further information / documents and donor must co-operate in this regard. Sarv Saarthi Foundation is not obliged to make refunds for all requests. We may exercise our discretion to decline requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

If a donor wishes to have their donations to Sarv Saarthi Foundation to be refunded, then they must make a request via email. The email should mention the reason for the refund request. The request for refund shall be made within 7 (seven) days from the date of payment of the donation.

The date of donation shall be be treated as:

  • Date on which electronic / digital payment was made. OR
  • Date on which cheque / demand draft was handed over to authorised personal of Sarv Sarthi Foundation. OR
  • Date on which check / demand draft was despatched via post or courier

The email requesting refund must be sent to contactus@sarvsaarthi.org. It must contain the below mentioned details:

  • Date of donation
  • Donation amount
  • If donation was made through cheque/draft, please provide Cheque/Draft no.
  • If donation was made through credit card, please provide Credit Card no. (last 4 digits only).
  • If donation was made online, please provide transaction summary screenshot.
